Beginning of December...

Okay...this is the day..1st day of December. When it comes to the month of D.E.C.E.M.B.E.R all we have in mind is Christmas!.. Yeah, we are happy about it especially when our love ones' faces popped out in our mind and thinking what activities to plan during the holiday.. It's just a feeling of joy and excitement for the upcoming season... :)

Secondly.... this question come out: "What to wear for Christmas"?... Well, for me, wearing my old jeans and a new top is enough. A bit of blusher, a bit of lip-gloss and a neat hairdo is enough along with a big smile on the face..

Somehow, Christmas is actually a day to remind us that apart from those materials, we are celebrating the Saviour's birth which the REAL happiness can be gained spiritually. We are the reason for the season..He came for us and He died for us.

So then, December is just an ordinary month. It is all depend on us how to make it special, and I thanked to God for keeping me alive and strong in every circumstances in my life.

Stressful Moment

I'm already at the end of the month of August... as time goes by, there's a lot of things appened. Well, congratulations to Jason for his newborn baby boy Jaden...Well, welcome to the world of parenthood! :)

Nowadays, my appetite keep on increasing...I had a big breakfast and lunch and I still keep on munching something and craving for something to eat even my stomach is full. Wah...!! Maybe that's because I am so stressed at the moment -- studying accounting subject that I am not interested at all!..

But above all, I will never give up easily on this.. I believe I can do it..!"By myself, I am nothing..but with God, I am everything!"

A day in the office

I was a bit free this morning then I managed to buy a Birthday Card for my boss to be signed by the staff for his upcoming 45th birthday... Now it already full with signatures and wishes from the staff and ready to be put on my boss's table by tomorrow morning...

In some way, sometimes I do feel uncomfortable and irritated by the boss...well, sorry to say this but some things are unacceptable when it comes to stressful moment. I got blurred which I did not know the head and tail about things that I should know, and most irritating thing is when it comes to a miscommunication, where I did my work well but then it turned to be upside down all because of a wrong info...then this is the part when I get scolded in front of the other staff (luckily they are really sporting).... It feels like I want to scold somebody and say those bad words..**sigh..** Gosh...I feel stupid, ashamed and it was like the volcano waiting to get exploded..

On the other hand, I might be lucky working under my boss's department which I never received so much complaints or arguments. The office would be the most relaxing place where I could surf the internet until my sleepy eyes could do the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) effectively..hahaha! (whoopppss! ) ... I'm not a slob, is just that when there's no work to do, I would get myself drifted by a restful slumber... (but I only do that during lunch hour...)
hehehe...

Okay, wishing all the best to u boss! Stay cool and don't get stressed too much bah bos...hehehe..Yappy Birthday!

Chap Goh Meh

Chap Goh Meh or Tzap Goh Mei represents the fifteenth and final day of the Lunar New Year period as celebrated by Chinese migrant communities. The term is from the Hokkien dialect and refers to the fifteenth day of the first month, which is the occasion of the first full moon of the New Year.
The occasion is marked by feasting and various festivities, including the consumption of
tangyuan. In traditional Chinese culture, it is also celebrated as the Lantern Festival or the Shang Yuan Festival. In Southeast Asia, however, it coincides with the Chinese Valentine's Day
It was a bit cloudy last night as soon as the rain stopped. Apparently, my friend and I were watching tv until 3.20 am and it was full moon. It was just like a spotlight from the sky brightened our place. Probably it would be nice if it surrounded by sparkling stars. Anyway, still I would say words to praise the Lord for everything. I am grateful to see His touch. Beautiful. :)

My favourite pet

First I thought.." mabuk ka ni kucing?.." Catnap as they say..hehe..macam mo garu saja tu leher dia..

Tongkungon oh tongkungon...

2009 sudah mari...Happy New Year!

Tongkungon..reminds me of my grandparents...they used to play this instrument while we were gathering at their house during childhood, sitting beside the 'ropuhan' ( fireplace) and watch them play while waiting for meals to be served...
I still remembered when I was questioning my dad.." Pa, apaini?" ( time belum pandai dusun language). " Tongkungon", my dad took it and played.." Gitar ka Pa? Lain juga...", I said with mischievous face. My Bapa senyum2 saja sambil concentrate main..ting tong ting tong ting ting tonggg.........sounds like a music with a bunch of gongs..
It makes me think..how proud I am to be a Dusun..:)

"The Tongkungon is a tube zither made entirely of large poring bamboo. A whole section of bamboo is taken and four to eight strips of the skin carefully undercut along the length of the bamboo between the nodes to form the string. Small pieces of cane or wood are placed under the strings at each end to alter their lengths and pitches. The names of the strings and the sound intervals between their pitches correspond to the Gongs in the ensembles of their respective communities. People often play the Tongkungon alone for personal relaxation or entertainment. It is also used to accompany dancing and is popular among the Kadazandusun community of Sabah."
